Once again I have proven that I am NOT the Pope of Trivia (I’m not infallible). I’m simply Trivia Guy… maybe Trivia Deacon on a good night…but last night was not a good night. Last night I was like a Trivia Altar Boy who got reamed by Father MacFacts. Ok, I’ve taken that epic simile too far now…
I asked you to name one of the two movies that Judd Apatow directed in 2007… My answers were Superbad and Knocked Up. It was pointed out to me that he only (*only*) produced Superbad and did not direct it. Only one team put Superbad so they got away with a few points there, but that team did not finish in the top 3… so my error did not affect the game.
PS. We are well over 10,000 hits now…woohoo! On to 50,000!

Sure this post is about 6 days late… But it was St. Patrick’s Day Week. Yes… “Day Week”. It’s a week-long festival of inebriation and merry-making… which, when combined, can easily convert to inebriated love-making.
Excuses aside, The Antithesis won last week after spending most of the game languishing in the cellar. It was an exciting come-back on a night that saw a record 19 teams begin the game and 15 teams finish. The final bonus quesion: “What was Philo T. Farnsworth credited with inventing,” caused some controversy. Some teams thought I was refering to Prof. Farnsworth from Futurama who invented the Smelloscope. But I wasn’t. I was referring to the real-life Farnsworth who invented the television. They have different first names. Deal with it.
